Our most important milestones
Because security creates trust
Quality is central to everything we do. From our educational work and the support we give the children, to the clear, structured routines in our day-to-day nursery life. Our own quality management concept ensures that all processes are regularly reviewed, reflected upon and further developed. We place particular emphasis on our qualified team: through regular training and targeted personnel development, we ensure that the care we provide meets the highest standards.
The safety and health of the children are our top priority. All rooms, play equipment and materials are regularly checked and adapted to current safety standards. Our team receives regular training in first aid, emergency management, safety and hygiene measures, and fire safety. Daily activities such as play, exercise and projects are designed to minimise risks and allow the children to develop freely, safely and confidently.
A balanced and healthy diet is a central part of our daycare routine. We offer freshly prepared meals every day, made from regional and seasonal ingredients and tailored to the children's needs. Individual eating habits, needs and allergies are of course taken into account. The children are involved in an age-appropriate manner: they learn to serve themselves, use table manners and help with the preparation of meals. Through a positive and relaxed eating atmosphere, we promote the enjoyment of food and the development of a healthy relationship with food.
Hygiene is an integral part of our everyday life and promotes health, independence and a sense of responsibility. Children are introduced to routines such as hand washing, dental care and personal hygiene in a playful manner appropriate to their stage of development. All rooms, play materials and sanitary facilities are cleaned and disinfected regularly. Our hygiene and safety concept also defines clear procedures for sensitive activities such as nappy changing, bottle preparation and emergency situations.
With heart, attitude and responsibility
Trust and security are the foundation for children's positive development. Children experience emotional security in a warm, loving environment with reliable caregivers. Through established rituals, a structured daily routine and gentle settling-in phases, children learn to build trust. Parents play an important role in this and are actively involved in order to promote close and transparent cooperation. This creates a secure foundation on which children, parents and the team can grow together.
Each child is recognised as an individual with their own needs, abilities and interests. Our carers consciously act as role models and treat the children with respect, empathy and positive reinforcement. We also believe in open communication, appreciation and partnership when working with parents, so that decisions can be made together and the child is supported in all matters.
We attach great importance to recognizing and specifically promoting the individual strengths and abilities of each child. Through creative activities, exercise, projects, and free play, children are given the opportunity to develop their personal, social, and technical skills. Participation, a focus on the real world, and resource-oriented work are central to this approach: children can discover their interests, make their own decisions, and learn problem-solving strategies.
Community and cooperation are essential for social learning and interaction in daycare. Children learn how important cooperation, consideration, and mutual support are, both in play and in projects and everyday rituals. The team works closely together and actively involves parents in order to create a stable, supportive environment. Through this active community, children develop social skills and a sense of belonging that gives them security for their further development.
Recognizing potential - developing talent
Early childhood education lays the foundation for education and equal opportunities.
In Switzerland, education often starts too late – many children begin school at a disadvantage. Studies, including those conducted by Prof. Dr. Margrit Stamm on behalf of the UNESCO Commission, show that there is a need for higher quality, international compatibility, and a better understanding of early childhood education – not as “school brought forward,” but as the conscious promotion of children's curiosity and development.
Early childhood education is therefore an integral part of our everyday teaching. We attach great importance to supporting the development of each child in a targeted and individual manner. Numerous learning opportunities arise in consistent groups, with familiar caregivers, and in an educationally designed daily routine. This is precisely where education can take place at an early age, holistically and in a child-friendly manner. Because early education does not mean bringing school forward. It means consciously supporting children's learning processes at the right time and with the right amount of guidance and freedom.
